SMALL BUSINESS GRANT RECIPIENTS <br />In January, the City awarded $295,000 in grant money <br />to 59 of Louisville's small businsses through the Small <br />Business Preservation Grant Program.The program, <br />which was approved by City Council on January 5, <br />focused on assistance to those business types that <br />have been most heavily impacted by capacity <br />restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, <br />including restaurants, bars, gyms, fitness users, and <br />limited health care providers. <br />Visit LouisvilleCO.gov/PreservationGrant to see a full <br />list of grant recipients. <br />HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE <br />You can commit to protecting our waterways by <br />properly disposing of your household hazardous <br />waste (HHW) at Boulder County's Hazardous Materials <br />Management Facility (HMMF). By responsibly <br />disposing of fertilizers, medications, paints, and other <br />household hazardous waste you are keeping them <br />from accidentally ending up in our streams and <br />negatively impacting our water quality and <br />aquatic life. <br />• See what household hazardous waste (HHW) <br />includes at LouisvilleCO.gov/HazardousWaste and <br />make a list of what you have at home <br />• Go through your home, check if HHW is stored <br />safely and if any are unneeded or expired <br />• See what items the HMMF facility accepts and <br />make an appointment to schedule your visit <br />• Or sign up to be notified when appointments open <br />for Louisville's 2021 Household Hazardous and <br />E-Waste Drop Off (April 24) <br />LouisvilleCO.gov/HazardousWasteEvent <br />In need of household cleaners, paints and stains, <br />lawn and garden products, or more? <br />Boulder County's HMMF offers reusable items that are <br />brought in from other residents that are in good <br />condition to be used for their intended purpose.
