PARTNERING WITH MUSEUMS FOR ALL <br />The Museum is partnering with Museums for All, a <br />program that allows individuals and families receiv- <br />ing food assistance (SNAP benefits) to gain free or <br />reduced price admission to over 500 museums in the <br />United States. While our tours, events, and programs <br />are always free, participating in this program helps the <br />Museum keep accessibility and inclusivity at the heart <br />of our operations as well as call attention to the need <br />for financial accessibility in our community. <br />OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY EVENTS <br />Calling all citizen historians, photography enthusiasts, <br />and architecture lovers for two Museum -sponsored <br />outdoor photography events "Lenses on Louisville" <br />to celebrate Preservation Month! Join Museum staff <br />on May 8 to photograph commercial structures and <br />artistic elements downtown and on May 22 to <br />photograph residences in the Miners Field <br />neighborhood. Afterwards, donate your images to the <br />Museum and help document contemporary Louisville <br />for future generations. All ages welcome. Both <br />programs begin with an orientation outside the <br />Museum at 10 AM. Mark your calendars and keep your <br />eyes open for registration information. <br />REOPENING FOR IN -PERSON TOURS <br />The Museum is excited to reopen for in -person tours <br />by appointment. The tours will be limited to ten <br />people. Live, virtual tours are also available by ap- <br />pointment! To learn more or to schedule a tour, visit <br />the"Tours by Appointment" page on the Museum's <br />website LouisvilleCO.gov/Museum. <br />EAT WELL EXHIBIT <br />Don't worry, Eat Well isn't a late New Year's Resolution! <br />It's the Louisville Historical Museum's newest online <br />exhibit! Check it out on our website and learn about <br />grocers and grocery stores of Louisville's past. Who <br />knew grocery delivery was common way before chain <br />grocery stores? Louisville grocers served many <br />different markets and sold a surprising amount of <br />specialty goods! <br />HISTORY FOR EARLY LEARNERS <br />The Museum has developed live, virtual programs for <br />preschool and early education classrooms.These pro- <br />grams fit with the Creative Curriculum used in Boulder <br />Valley School District preschools.
