Building Blocks and Stepping Stones <br />are educational, fun and nurturing classes where <br />preschoolers can learn and grow at their own pace. <br />Lessons are fostered through play. A true community <br />based program, being housed at the Louisville <br />Recreation and Senior Center offers a variety of <br />resources and connections. The framework for <br />learning is created by a team of experienced and <br />caring Early Childhood Educators. The part time <br />program is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays <br />during the school year from 8:15 AM-10:50 AM or <br />11:40 AM -2:15 PM. Both Girls and Boys for grade K-8th grade <br />will be encouraged to sign up. VOLUNTEER COACHES <br />are needed! Practices are once a week for 45 minutes <br />depending on coaches availability and then games <br />on Saturdays. Coaches and players will be required to <br />wear a mask during game play and when a 6-foot <br />distance cannot be maintained. Be sure to check out the <br />Recreation & Senior Center's May Catalog for <br />information on a celebration event! <br />Senior Resources <br />Louisville Senior Services at the Recreation & Senior <br />Center currently offers a variety of virtual classes and <br />activities, as well as Brooks Cafe curbside lunch. Senior <br />Resources help in the areas of transportation, housing, <br />legal assistance, financial guidance and medical <br />equipment loans are also available by contacting Katie <br />Tofte, Community Resource Coordinator, at <br />KTofte@LouisvilleCO.gov or by calling 303.335.4919. <br />Snow Shoveling <br />Snow shoveling help is available through Louisville <br />Senior Services for seniors 60+, who meet the fol- <br />lowing eligibility requirements: you must live in your <br />residence year round and have an annual income of <br />under $25,000/year for a single person or $30,000/year <br />for a couple. The Brooks Cafe lunch program is looking <br />to add volunteers to our future volunteer pool.
