SUSTAINABIL T <br />SUSTAINABILITY SPOTLIGHT <br />As the seasons begin to change again, the City's <br />Sustainability staff would like to share a few program <br />updates with the community. <br />Low -to -No Cost Home Energy Squad Assessments <br />The weather is getting colder and residents can start <br />their journey towards lower energy bills and a more <br />efficient home by choosing between a no -cost Home <br />Energy Squad visit (normally $50) or upgrading to a <br />$50 Home Energy Squad Plus visit (normally $150). <br />A standard visit includes installation of energy - <br />saving equipment like LED bulbs, energy -efficient <br />showerheads, a programmable thermostat, and faucet <br />aerators. Upgrading to a Plus audit adds: <br />• Inspection of home exterior, insulation and <br />mechanical systems <br />• Air leak analysis with a Blower -Door diagnostic <br />test <br />• Combustion safety test <br />• Carbon monoxide check <br />• Infrared imaging and analysis <br />Louisville residents can visit www.xcelenergy.com/ <br />HomeEnergySquad or call 303-446-7910 to schedule <br />their visit using promo code Louisville22 for a standard <br />visit or Louisville22Plus for a Plus visit.
