•
•
•
L
Additional Sustainability Updates
In October, the cities of Louisville and Lafayette and the
towns of Erie and Superior hosted Ecotoberfest. This
year's event was a huge success, with an estimated
3,000 attendees who visited local, sustainable artisans
and exhibitors, listened to live music, enjoyed the
Louisville Chamber -sponsored beer garden and more!
Also in October, the City opened a waitlist for five bag
tax -funded, no -cost, sustainability programs for eligible
businesses. From a bulk supply of reusable bags to a
commercial sustainability grant, the programs aim to
increase waste diversion and sustainability within the
commercial sector and will launch on January 1, 2024. If
your business is interested in this no -cost programming,
please LouisvilleCO.gov/BagTaxPrograms.
Visit LouisvilleCO.gov/Sustainability for the most up-
to-date information and progress towards Louisville's
sustainability goals.
Register now for 2024 Resource Central programming
The City is teaming up with Resource Central again
for water conservation programs, including Garden
in a Box and Lawn Replacement.
