LLouisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Recreation Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 25, 2024 <br />Recreation Center <br />900 West Via Appia <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order — Chairperson Norgard called the meeting to order at 6:30. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Dick Friedson, Angie Layton, Gene Kutscher, <br />Douglas Minter, Lisa Norgard, Mary O'Brien, Michele Van Pelt <br />Board Members Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Kathy Martin <br />City Council Member Present: Deb Fahey <br />Public Members Present: David Beery Nancy Beery, Marsha Thinnes, <br />Mekhi, Mike Dufresne <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Motion: Gene Kutscher <br />Second: Michele Van Pelt <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes — The minutes from the October 28 meeting were <br />approved as written. <br />Motion: Lisa Norgard <br />Second: Gene Kutscher <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda — <br />Marsha Thinnes said that she and other pickleball players would like to know the <br />status of the construction of dedicated outdoor pickleball courts. She said that it <br />would be nice to have information posted in the Rec Center, so that players know <br />what's happening. <br />• Kathy Martin said that the funds for outdoor pickleball courts were just <br />approved by City Council.
