Cityof ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE
Louisville
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
SUBJECT: POTENTIAL AGENDA ITEMS AND UPDATES
DATE: APRIL 10, 2025
PRESENTED BY: VANESSA ZARATE, CECD, ECONOMIC VITALITY MANAGER
SUMMARY:
Every month staff provides regular updates in the form of Staff Updates, Development
Updates and News Articles that are relevant to Economic Vitality in Louisville.
Throughout the month, Economic Vitality staff does receive additional question from
council members, staff and the community.
As we look to continue to educate and highlight success in Louisville, we are looking for
feedback on what additional information would be helpful to be updated
monthly/quarterly. Some options include
- Monthly sales/lease data- updates on what current vacancy rates are as well as
updates on major properties listed for sale or lease.
- Partner updates as relevant- this can include programmatic or success updates
as they occur and can help highlight what is working in our surrounding
communities. We do this currently to a certain extent but this could be longer
updates to highlight things, such as Lafayette's DDA approval.
- New Business List- a list of new businesses that received licenses between the
last meeting and now.
Staff is happy to discuss other potential updates as well.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends EVC review and provide feedback.
ATTACHMENT(S):
1. None.
