Call to Order: Councilmember Fahey called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Fahey and Councilmember Kern. Also present were City <br />Manager Diana Langley, Director of Community Development Rob Zuccaro, <br />Economic Vitality Manager Vanessa Zarate, and Economic Vitality Specialist <br />Austin Brown. Two members of the public were in attendance. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Kern made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Fahey. <br />Motion passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes from March 6, 2025: Councilmember Kern <br />made a motion to approve the March 6, 2025 meeting minutes. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilmember Fahey. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None. <br />6. Business Beat Discussion: <br />Manager Zarate gave a recap of the most recent Business Beat Roundtable <br />and asked for EVC feedback. Staff also gave an update on the next planned <br />Business Beat meeting tentatively scheduled for April 21. <br />Councilmember Kern commented that she thought there was really good <br />attendance and conversation at the March Business Beat Roundtable, <br />particularly from the McCaslin area. She was excited to see some companies <br />there that had never attended a meeting before. She commented that she <br />would like to explore how to add activities for both residents and business <br />owners in parts of Louisville other than downtown. <br />Councilmember Fahey echoed Councilmember Kern's comments and noted <br />that Relish offered the use of their parking lot for community events.
