Bold indicates firms short-listed for interview. 3,000.00 ALTERNATIVE(S): An alternative to completing these plans is to continue using the adopted 2012 PROST Master Plan as the guiding planning document for the Department and continue managing the trail system on a project -by -project basis. Staff believe this alternative will result in reactionary management and potential uncertainty as to whether PROS facilities, programs and services meet the needs and desires of the community as a whole. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommend the City Council vote in support of the award to DTJ, approve the master consulting agreement for $375,500 with an amount not -to -exceed $400,000 and authorize the Mayor, City Manager, Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Director and City Clerk to sign and execute contract documents on behalf of the City.
