<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 780 <br /> -- <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING REGULATIONS <br /> FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, ENLARGEMENT, <br /> ALTERATION, REPAIR, MOVING, DEMOLITION <br /> OCCUPANCY AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS <br /> OR STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO; ADOPTING <br /> BY REFERENCE THERETO THE UNIFORM <br /> BUILDING CODE, 1982 EDITION, <br /> PUBLISHED BY THE INTERNATIONAL <br /> CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS, <br /> WITH THE AMENDMENTS AND DELETIONS <br /> THERETO AS SET OUT HEREIN. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council and City Staff of the City of Louisville has <br /> reviewed the 1982 edition of the Uniform Building Code; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the same should be <br /> adopted with certain amendments and deletions as set out herein; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section l. Sections 15.04.010, 15.04.020, 15.04.050, of Chapter <br /> 15.04 Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed and Sections <br /> 15.44.010, 15.44.020, 15.44.030. 15.44.040, 15.44.050 and 15.44.060 of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. The following sections are hereby added <br /> to Chapter 15.04, Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 15.04.010 Adopted <br /> Pursuant to Chapter 31, Article 16, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, <br /> as amended, is hereby adopted as a part of the Louisville Municipal Code and as <br /> the Building Code of the City of Louisville, by reference thereto, the Uniform <br /> Building Code, 1982 Edition, as amended and deleted herein, published by the Inter- <br /> national Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, <br /> California, to have the same force and effect as if set forth herein in every <br /> particular. The subject matter of the adopted code includes comprehensive <br /> provisions and standards regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, altera- <br /> tion, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use <br /> height, area, and maintenance of buildings and structures for the purpose of <br /> protecting the public health, safety, and general welfare. In all sections of <br /> this Chapter where a reference is made to the Uniform Building Code , said <br /> reference shall be to the 1982 edition of said code. <br />
