Preliminary Internal Review Draft <br />The Louisville Comprehensive Plan outlines a cohesive set of Goals and Strategies reflecting a shared <br />Vision for the community. Resilience and Adaptation <br />Conservation and Open Space <br />Figure 5: Plan Elements and Focus Areas <br />Five Plan Elements are the framework for organizing the Goals and Strategies; Land Use and Development <br />(Chapter 3), Transportation and Mobility (Chapter 4), Sustainability, Recreation, and Open Space (Chapter <br />5), Economic Vibrancy (Chapter 6), Community Services and Infrastructure (Chapter 7). Each Plan element <br />includes several Focus Area that provide more definition to the Plan Element and is defined by an <br />abbreviation (XX). Each Focus Area includes a series of numbered Goals (XX.#) supported by lettered <br />Strategies and sub -strategies (XX.#.A). The Goals represent a specific step for what this plan achieves and <br />the Strategy identifies policies and actions for how the City may move forward.
