<br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> RESOLU~rrON NO. 47 <br /> SeriE~s of ..__J~~~ _ <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINANCING PROJECT FOR KIRK <br /> PECK, MAKING FINDINGS AND AUTHORIZING BOND FINANCING IN <br /> CONNECTION THEREWITH AND AUTHORIZING REPRESENTATIVES OF <br /> THE CITY TO TAKE ACTION INCIDENTAL THERETO. <br /> WHEREAS, Kirk Peck (thl~ "Owner" ) has requested the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado, for assistance with financing for a project <br />(the "Pro-iect") consisting of certain industrial and office <br />facilities and related equipment for Colorado Copier System, <br />Inc. a Colorado corporation, to be located within the City of <br />Louisville, as more fully described in a letter of the Owner <br />dated December 30, 1983, submitted to this meeting (a copy of <br />which sha II be filed with thl~ records of the City); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to encourage the Owner to proceed <br />with the Project in order to further the purposes of the County <br />and Municipality Development Revenue Bond Act (the "Act"); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS~ <br /> Section 1. ~E.ro~~~._~f_ttI~_ Pro i~E!~}~ ind ings . Based upon <br />the representations made and information supplied by the Owner, <br />the City hereby approves t:he Project and makes the following <br />findings in connection there'~,ri th ~ <br /> A. The pro-iect constitutes a "proiect" for purposes <br />of the Act in that it consists of properties, other than inven- <br />tories, raw materials and other working capital, suitable or to <br />be used for or in connection with Colorado Copier System, Inc. , <br />Lessee, to be owned and operated by a commercial enterprise; and <br /> B. The Pr04ect will promote the public purposes of <br />the Act and the safety, welfare, convenience and prosperity of <br />the inhabitants of Colorado by promoting industry and developing <br />trade through the inducement: of the Owner to maintain and expand <br />his operations, mitigating a threat of unemployment and securing <br />and maintaining a balanced and stable economy in Colorado. <br /> Section 2. Authorization of Bond Financing.
