LCityof <br />Louisville <br />ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />SUBJECT: ECONOMIC VITALITY COMMITTEE 2026 WORK PLAN <br />DATE: OCTOBER 9, 2025 <br />PRESENTED BY: VANESSA ZARATE, CECD, ECONOMIC VITALITY MANAGER <br />SUMMARY: <br />The Economic Vitality Committee has expressed interest in creating a 2026 work plan to <br />help guide conversations and EVC Meetings. <br />Staff has identified the following as potential work plan items for 2026 <br />• Business Satisfaction Survey Implementation <br />o Programming and policy updates based on feedback provided in the 2025 <br />Business Satisfaction Survey <br />• Evaluation of City Processes <br />o Code evaluation following adoption of Comprehensive Plan <br />o Planning and building processes <br />• Incentive Evaluation <br />o Regularly review incentive policy and bring forward any needed changes <br />to align with market and business needs <br />• Sundance <br />o Promotion <br />o Festival license or some sort of short term rental policy <br />o Transportation needs <br />o Construction projects interaction with Sundance <br />o Hotel cooperation <br />• Louisville Revitalization Commission Collaboration <br />o Identify opportunity areas for additional collaboration with urban renewal <br />tools <br />• Louisville Collateral and Promotion <br />Please provide additional feedback and staff will bring back a completed work plan to <br />EVC. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no additional fiscal impact to creating a EVC work plan. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />
