Cityof Louisville COLORADO - SINCE 1878 City Council Meeting Minutes January 6, 2025 City Hall, Council Chambers 749 Main Street 5:00 PM CaII to Order — Mayor Leh called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. Roll Call was taken, and the following members were present: City Council: Mayor Chris Leh Mayor Pro Tem Caleb Dickinson (joined remotely at 6pm) Councilmember Tim Bierman Councilmember Deborah Fahey Councilmember Barbara Hamlington Councilmember Dietrich Hoefner Councilmember Judi Kern (arrived at 5:06pm) Staff Present: Samma Fox, Interim City Manager Meredyth Muth, Interim Deputy City Manager Kathleen Kelly, City Attorney Genny Kline, Interim City Clerk EXECUTIVE SESSION - RECRUITMENT / PERSONNEL MATTER Mayor Leh introduced the executive session. City Attorney Kelly stated she and the mayor are requesting the executive session concerning presentation by the Council committee for the City Manager recruitment of application materials submitted by the applicants, none of whom are finalists. Interim City Clerk Kline read Section 2.90.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code. City Attorney Kelly stated the authority for the executive session, Sections 5-2(a) and 5- 2(b) of the Home Rule Charter authorizes an executive session for the purpose of the Mayor addressing the City Council on personnel matters for informational purposes. State law, specifically the Colorado Open Records Act, provides at C.R.S. Section 24- 72-204(3)(a)(XI) that records submitted by the City Manager applicants who are not finalists are confidential and not subject to disclosure.
