Davidson thanked the Boulder County Commissioners for making this transaction <br />possible, specifically Commissioner Ron Stewart who made the offer on their behalf. He <br />stated that this preserves what has become a key piece of open space after the purchase of <br />the Warembourg property and other purchases in association with the Northwest Parkway <br />Intergovernmental Agreement. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 30, Series 1999 - A Resolution <br />Approving a Purchase Agreement to Buy and Sell Vacant Real Estate and Conservation <br />Easement, seconded by Keany. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 5-0 vote, with Sisk excused and Howard being <br />absent. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1303, SERIES 1999, AUTHORIZING THE SALE AND <br />CONVEYANCE OF A FIFTY PERCENT UNDIVIDED FEE INTEREST IN A 33- <br />ACRE TRACT OF LAND OWNED BY THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND <br />KNOWN AS THE ADMOR WEST PARCEL, AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXCHANGE OF RECIPROCAL CONSERVATION EASEMENTS OVER SUCH <br />PARCEL -public hearing (advertised Daily Camera 6/5/99) - <br />[note - sale is to Boulder County] <br /> <br />Davidson called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney, read by title only, Ordinance No. 1303, Series 1999, <br />Authorizing The Sale And Conveyance Of A Fifty Percent Undivided Fee Interest In A <br />33-Acre Tract Of Land Owned By The City Of Louisville And Known As The Admor <br />West Parcel, And Authorizing The Exchange Of Reciprocal Conservation Easements <br />Over Such Parcel. <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff presentation. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that Resolution No. 30, Series 1999 approved <br />the purchase agreement to buy and sell real estate and conservation easement, Ordinance <br />No. 1303 approves and authorizes the sale of that property and authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute the documents on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance <br />No. 1303, Series 1999, Authorizing The Sale And Conveyance Of A Fifty Percent <br />Undivided Fee Interest In A 33-Acre Tract Of Land Owned By The City Of Louisville <br />And Known As The Admor West Parcel, And Authorizing The Exchange Of Reciprocal <br />Conservation Easements Over Such Parcel. <br /> <br />Helms (first name inaudible), thanked Council for cooperating with Boulder County on <br />this property.
