Mayer reported that the US 36 MIS has met and currently there seems to be interest
building around a combination of lane improvements, bus/rapid transit HOV lanes and
the possibility for commuter rail.

Howard stated that he thought that commuter rail was one of the more expensive options.

Mayer replied that, if the cost can be split using the existing BNSF track, the cost would
be $90 million as opposed to $400-500 million. He explained that this is all preliminary
and he expects to receive additional information at the next meeting.

Davidson requested that the City Attorney review whether the City of Louisville has an
Ordinance prohibiting street vendors, such as the ones selling newspapers. If not,
Davidson requested that the City Attorney draft an Ordinance for Council's review and
consideration.

ADJOURNMENT

Howard moved that Council adjourn (7:38 p.m.), seconded by Sisk. All in favor.

ATTEST:

Tom B~vid~on, Mayor

Dave Clabots, City Clerk
