He explained that, given that the <br />agreement has been finalized and received by the City, he would recommend the Mayor <br />withdraw his motion for reconsideration of Ordinance No. 1301. <br /> <br />Davidson withdrew his motion to reconsider Ordinance No. 1301, Series 1999 - An <br />Ordinance Approving an Annexation, known as the Waremourg Ranch Annexation to the <br />City of Louisville, Colorado. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1306, SERIES 1999 - AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE <br />WATER TAP FEES IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - 2nd <br />READING - Public Hearing <br />(advertised Daily Camera 7/24/99) <br /> <br />Sam Light, City Attorney, read by title only, Ordinance No. 1306, Series 1999 - An <br />Ordinance Increasing the Water Tap Fees in the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff presentation. <br /> <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director explained that in reviewing the need for additional <br />water plant capacity, it was apparent that the tap fees that the City is currently charging <br />would not be adequate to cover the projected cost of the future expanded needs of the <br />water systems in Louisville. He stated that staff is recommending an increase in the water <br />tap fees based upon capacity analysis. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance <br />No 1306, Series 1999 - An Ordinance Increasing the Water Tap Fees in the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council comments and questions. <br /> <br />Sisk asked Phare whether the water tap fee applications received by the City in the next <br />thirty days would cost the City as much as those received after September 6, 1999. Sisk <br />explained that he is wondering whether this Ordinance should be passed as an emergency <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Phare asked Wood for the number of building permits that are currently in the process. <br /> <br />Wood replied that he did not believe that this Ordinance would result in a run on water <br />tap applications. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
