Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote <br /> of 7 -0. <br /> DISCUSSION /DIRECTION FIT 4 COLORADO WALK, DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE, <br /> FEBRUARY 12 <br /> Mayor Sisk explained every month Channel 4 hosts a Fit 4 Colorado walk in a metro <br /> area municipality. He explained he and Public Relations Manager Meredyth Muth have <br /> been working with Channel 4 and the City of Louisville will be hosting the February 12 <br /> walk. He asked Council's preference for the route for the walk. There are two <br /> alternative routes: Course 1 Downtown around Lake Park and back down Spruce <br /> Street; Course 2 Downtown around Lake Park and returning via Main Street. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Marsella preferred the route which would return via Main Street. <br /> Councilor Muckle agreed and preferred the loop route. He asked if a route had been <br /> considered, which would include the Coal Creek trail. It was noted such a route would <br /> be desirable, but make the walk too long. <br /> There was Council consensus for Course 2. <br /> ORDINANCE No. 1588, SERIES 2011 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br /> 2.60.020 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE <br /> COMMENCEMENT DATE FOR PLANNING COMMISSION TERMS OF OFFICE —1 <br /> Reading Set Public Hearing 02/01/11 <br /> Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1588, Series 2011. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to approve Ordinance No. 1588, Series 2011 on first <br /> reading, ordered it published and set a public hearing for February 1, 2011, seconded <br /> by Councilor Clabots. All were in favor. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> City Attorney Light reported on the Hamon Lawsuit. He noted an additional letter will be <br /> sent to the Hamon attorneys on the settlement of the case. This may be discussed in <br /> Executive Session in February. <br /> Mayor Sisk inquired about previous litigation reports. City Attorney Light explained <br /> currently there is only one lawsuit. <br />
