<br />PROPOSED BYLAWS OF THE LOUISVILLE HORTICULTURE AND <br /> FORESTRY ADVISORY BOARD <br /> ARTICLE I <br /> The Board <br />Section I: The name of the board shall be the "Horticulture and Forestry <br /> Advisory Board" (hereinafter the "Board"). <br />Section 2: The Board shall meet at such a place and time in the City of <br /> Louisville as the Board may designate. <br />Section 3: Duties and Responsibilities. The Board shall represent the <br /> Louisville Community in providing guidance and input to city <br /> council, city staff and consultants on the development and <br /> implementation of public landscape projects, including <br /> development of budget priorities; shall advise and coordinate with <br /> city staff regarding the development, interpretation and revision, as <br /> necessary, of city landscape master plans, landscape ordinances <br /> and other appropriate landscape documents; shall support and <br /> promote landscape practices protective of environmental resources; <br /> shall work with city staff to promote healthy horticultural practices <br /> in public and private landscapes; and shall educate the public <br /> regarding horticultural practices appropriate to Louisville's climate <br /> and soils. The Board shall have the authority to revise the By- <br /> Laws as it deems necessary in accordance with Article V section I <br /> of the Bylaws. <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> Members <br />Section 1: Members ofthe Board.
