Approval of Agreement for Construction of Flow Measuring Device <br /> Along Rock Creek <br />Award Bid - Recreation Center Tennis Court Lights <br />Rejection of Bids - Gateway Design Work and Lake Park Landscaping <br />Appointment to Planning Commission - Tom McAvinew <br />Appointment to DRCOG - Councilman Jay Keany <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, reported that the City anticipates completing the <br />Gateway Design Project this year, as all the prairie dogs have been successfully <br />relocated. <br /> <br />Mayer stated that the cost of the household hazardous waste program has increased <br />significantly from year-to-year. He explained that the Boulder County Recycling <br />Authority and the Consortium of Cites are reviewing the program and will attempt to <br />locate new ways of financing it. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayer reported that he has been contacted by residents regarding the new boundaries of <br />the Monarch K-8 School. He stated that the proposed boundaries could have significant <br />impacts on Louisville residents. He requested that the Mayor Pro-Tem and the City <br />Administrator insure that Council is kept aware of the options and when input can be <br />provided. <br /> <br />Sisk stated that he, also, has been contacted by residents concerned about the new <br />boundaries of the Monarch K-8 School. He has spoken with Don Orr from the School <br />District and has been informed that the boundaries are still under consideration. He <br />agreed that Council should continue to monitor the progress. <br /> <br />Sisk commended Elle Cabbage, Event Coordinator, for the very successful Louisville <br />Fall Festival. He stated that attendance at several Festival events increased from previous <br />years. He extended thanks to all the volunteers for their extraordinary efforts. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
