He explained that the mineshaft itself is <br />not underneath the stormwater detention area. <br /> <br />Mayer asked Phare whether water flowing from the stormwater detention area into the <br />mineshaft would have any impact on water regulations. <br /> <br />Phare replied that he could not answer that question one way or the other. He stated that <br />he did not believe that there would be a high risk due to the amount of time the <br />stormwater detention area would be empty. <br /> <br />Lathrop moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1307, Series 1999 - An Ordinance <br />Designating Certain Geologic Hazards within the Business Center at C.T.C. and <br />Adopting Guidelines and Regulations for the Administration Thereof, Pursuant to Article <br />65.1 of Title 24, Colorado Revised Statutes including a modification to section 3 <br />regarding stormwater detention, seconded by Keany. <br /> <br />Keany offered a friendly amendment to include the changes to section two. <br /> <br />Friendly amendment accepted by Lathrop. <br /> <br />Mayer asked for clarification that the suggested language from the City Attorney is <br />included in the motion. <br /> <br />Lathrop replied, yes. <br /> <br />Light proposed an amendment that prior to the effectiveness of the Ordinance, the <br />applicant provide engineering information specifically addressing the appropriateness of <br />stormwater detention in the designated areas. <br /> <br />Mayer offered a friendly amendment to include the language proposed by the City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />Friendly amendment accepted by Lathrop and Keany. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken.
