Temporary posters announcing or advertising <br /> events sponsored by non-commercial organizations shall be exempt from <br /> limitations from window signs. <br /> 17.24.170 Temporary Signs <br /> Temporary Signs in all zoning districts shall be subject to <br /> the following specific requirements: <br /> A. Construction Signs. Signs advertising subdivision, <br /> development, construction or other improvement of a property shall <br /> be permitted in any zoning district, and shall comply with the <br /> following: <br /> l. Such signs shall be limited to free-standing, <br /> wall or window signsi shall not exceed 64 square feet <br /> in total area nor 32 square feet per face, and shall <br /> not exceed 8 feet in height. No riders or attachments <br /> to such signs shall be permitted. For residential <br /> developments consisting of five dwelling units or less, <br /> the maximum area permitted for a construction sign shall <br /> be six square feet per face for each dwelling unit being <br /> constructed. <br /> 2. Construction signs shall be displayed only on <br /> the property to which the sign pertains. One such sign <br /> shall be permitted per street upon which the property <br /> either has frontage or has an entrance from a major <br /> thoroughfare provided that the minimum distance between <br /> signs on any single development shall be 1,000 feet. <br /> 3.
