<br /> AN ORDINANCE UPDATING, CLARIFYING
<br /> AND AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF
<br /> TITLES ONE THROUGH NINE OF THE
<br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the first nine titles of the Louisville Municipal
<br /> Code have not been amended and updated since the adoption of the
<br /> Louisville Municipal Code; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, due to changes within the operations of the City
<br /> and changes in various state statutes, it is necessary to amend and
<br /> update various provisions of the Louisville Municipal Code.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br /> Section 1. The following sections of the Louisville

<br /> Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to
<br /> Titles one through nine of the Louisville Municipal Code:
<br /> 1.16.020 Initiation
<br /> Any proposed ordinance must be submitted to the City
<br /> Council upon petition of qualified electors pursuant to the require-
<br /> ments and procedures set forth in Title 1, Article 40, C.R.S. 1973.

<br /> 1.16.030 Vote Required
<br /> All ordinances, and all resolutions and Orders for the
<br /> appropriation of money, shall require for their passage or adoption
<br /> the concurrence of a majority of all members elected to City Council.
