<br /> 6.16.020 <br /> A. It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain or to <br /> keep any cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, chickens, horses, or other <br /> livestock within the City, except in areas zoned agricultural ~) <br /> or residential - rural (R-R). The keeping of such animals within <br /> areas of the City not specifically excepted herein is declared to <br /> be a nuisance. <br /> B. It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain or to <br /> keep more than three ducks, geese, or turkeys, or any combination <br /> thereof, within the City in areas zoned other than Agricultural (A) <br /> or Residential - Rural (R-R). The keeping of more than three fowl <br /> within areas of the City not specifically excepted herein is <br /> declared a nuisance. <br /> 6.20.0l0(B) <br /> Any domestic fowl which is found running at large may be <br /> taken up and impounded by the Code Enforcement Officer or his <br /> designated assistance. <br /> 8.08.030 Owner Liable for Cost of <br /> Cutting Weeds by City <br /> If weeds exist on any property to heights greater than <br /> six inches, the Director of Community Services or his authorized <br /> agent, no less than 10 days after notice by mail of the last known <br /> address of the owner, agent, or occupant of the property, may order <br /> the cutting and removal of the weeds by the City. The City shall <br /> assess the costs thereof, plus an additional amount up to $50.00 <br /> to cover administrative costs, against the lots or tracts of land <br /> from which the weeds were removed. <br /> 8.04.020 Garbage to be kept in Covered Containers <br /> All garbage or refuse consisting of waste, or animal or <br /> vegetable matter upon which rats may feed, all small dead animals, <br /> shall be placed and stored in a covered metal or plastic container <br /> - 14 - <br />
