<br /> 12.08.170 Permit-Issued for each project <br /> No permit issued under the provisions of this Chapter <br /> shall be for more than one sidewalk project for which a definite time <br /> limit shall be established by the City. <br /> 12. 08.180 Permit-Exhibition <br /> The permit required by Section 12.08.010 shall be kept at <br /> the site of the construction while the work is in progress, and shall <br /> be exhibited upon request to any police officer or other authorized <br /> representative of the city administrator. <br /> 12.08.190 Permit-Protection of public places <br /> Permits shall be conditioned that all work performed under <br /> such permits shall be in accordance with the rules and regulations <br /> of the city administrator which shall provide for the proper care <br /> and protection of the streets, alleys, sidewalks and other public <br /> places of the city, and persons and property thereupon. <br /> 12.08.200 Permit-Compliance with specifications <br /> Permits shall be conditioned that all work done under such <br /> permits shall be only such work as is allowed by the city and specified <br /> in the ordinance, resolution or contract of the City Council, or in <br /> the application submitted under Section 12.08.010. <br /> 12.08.210 Recordkeeping <br /> The city administrator shall keep a record of all <br /> applications made for sidewalk permits, and of the permits issued. <br /> 12.08.220 Licenses and insurance required <br /> All permittees under Chapter 12.08 must be licensed <br /> pursuant to this code and must provide the insurance required. <br /> 12.08.230 Time and space limits for street obstructions <br /> A. It shall be unlawful to obstruct more than the space of <br /> one block and one intersection at the same time in anyone street, or <br /> to keep the same blocked for more than three days. <br /> B. In the event of unforeseen extenuating circumstances, an <br /> applicant may apply for an extension of the three day limitation. <br /> The city engineer or his authorized representative, after investigation <br /> of the extenuating circumstances may grant such extension, provided <br /> valid reasons and circumstances exist and justify the extension. <br /> -2- <br />
