Michael Menaker asked to discuss the editorial in the Daily Camera about the <br />LRC. LRC will discuss this matter under Commissioners comments. The <br />mayor indicated that US 36 and northwest rail corridors has received $90 <br />million from the board to move forward with planning and design. Mayor and <br />staff have met with CDOT. The city’s request at DRCOG for $100,000 for <br />next steps station area planning secured $80,000 and that, together with the <br />city’s $20,000 match, will be allocated this year to study the entire site and <br />access from CO 42. The mayor’s conversation with MMC suggests that the <br />RTD board will continue their polling to determine if the vote will occur this <br />fall. <br />VIII. Business Matters of Commission <br />A. Update from RMCS; Redevelopment Area infrastructure discussion: Rick <br />and Dave provided an update on their projects. RMSC closed on the <br />property have begun their efforts on a preliminary PUD (grading, <br />engineering, traffic study, etc). This plan for the PUD to be available this <br />fall for review. They have been working with a site planner to make the <br />circulation and access work on the site with the economics.
