Open Space Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday,March 9th, 2011 <br />Louisville City Hall: Spruce Room <br />749 Main Street <br />7:00 <br />PM <br />I. Call to Order <br /> – Chairperson Tom Davinroy called the meeting to order at 7:02 <br />pm. <br />II. Roll Call <br /> was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Tom Davinroy, Alison Gorsevski, Spencer <br />Guthrie, Justin McClure, Helen Moshak, Mike Schantz, Linda Smith <br />Board Members Absent: David Waldman <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull & Joe Stevens <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> – Justinmoved to approve the agenda.Linda <br />seconded. The motion was unanimous. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes <br />– Justinmoved to approve the minutes from <br />the Feb. 9th, 2011 meeting. Lindaseconded. Minutes were approved as written. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />- None <br />VI. Presentation by Natalie Robinson: “Butterfly Community Variation in <br />Urban Fragments on the Colorado Front Range” <br /> Project purpose: Study traits of butterfly species in order to <br />o <br />determine why some species live in certain habitats, but not in <br />others. This study can help us learn about habitat management <br />and habitat health. <br /> One of the study areas was Warembourg Open Space. Observed <br />o <br />a relatively high (quantitatively) number of butterflies at <br />Warembourg.
