Consultant Study Completed <br /> - Study completed regarding <br />alternatives for the CTC to downtown Louisville trail. Report will be <br />brought to OSAB in April or May. <br />d. Owl Program <br /> – Presentation occurred on Monday. Estimated <br />attendance of 64. <br />e. Open Space Master Plan <br /> - A component of the Master Plan includes <br />a document which benchmarks the City of Louisville Open Space <br />Education Program with other Open Space Education Programs. This <br />program comparison is in draft form. When the report is finalized OSAB <br />will have an opportunity for review. <br />f. Colorado Open Space Alliance <br /> – Sept. 19 – 21, 2011 in Glenwood <br />Springs, CO. OSAB members are invited to attend. Registration and class <br />descriptions can be viewed at www.coloradoopenspace.org. <br />g. Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education <br /> - April 29 – May 1, <br />2011 in Boulder, CO at the Millennium Harvest House. Registration and <br />class descriptions can be viewed at www.caee.org. <br />VIII. Board Update <br />th <br />a. Master Plan Meeting <br /> – Will occur on Monday, March 14at 5:30 pm in <br />Council Chambers. Confirmed that we will have OSAB members in <br />attendance. <br />IX. Discussion Item:OSAB Goals and Action Items: <br /> a. Review and Update Goals List <br /> Superior OSAB would like to invite OSAB to a meeting this year. <br />o <br />Joint meetings with Superior Open Space Board will be added as a <br />goal. <br /> Justin plans to develop/write an article quarterly; target date will be <br />o <br />modified to reflect this. Facebook and updating the website target <br />dates will also be changed to quarterly. <br /> OSAB will be provided with the City’s Facebook policy. <br /> b. Update: GIS Treasure Hunt <br /> Mike has done some research on what is being done in other <br />o <br />communities. <br /> One idea is to collaborate with the Louisville Historical Society to <br />o <br />“find” historical sites on the open space. <br /> Another idea is to tie in to the geocaching community. <br /> <br />
