<br /> 17.68.060 Permit Fees <br /> The following permit fees shall be paid to the City prior <br />to th e issuance of the permit required under this section: <br /> (a) Every applicant granted a well permit as herein provided <br />shall pay a fee. The initial fee shall be $3,000.00 for the year 1982, <br />but said initial fee shall be adjusted effective January 1st of each <br />subsequent year by a factor equal to the consumer price index; an <br />annual initial fee of $1,000.00 for the year 1982 shall be payable for <br />each well permit, and thereafter shall be adjusted effective January <br />1st of each subsequent year by a factor equal to the consumer price <br />index. Said annual fee shall be payable within 30 days after each <br />anniversary date of such permit. <br /> (b) In addition to any other fees required under this <br />chapter or other sections of the Louisville Municipal Code, when it <br />becomes necessary in laying, installing or taking up any pipeline or <br />any other line, to make cuts upon the streets or rights-of-way of the <br />City, a street cut permit fee shall be paid as required under the <br />ordinances of the City. <br /> (c) In the event oil and gas exploration or any operations <br />shall occur upon the property owned by the City of Louisville, a minimum <br />lease fee of $3,000,00 per drilling site shall be paid to the City for <br />the right to have said oil and gas operation upon said property. <br /> (d) Every applicant granted a permit to install an oil and <br />gas pipeline within the corporate limits of the City under this ordinance <br />shall pay a fee. The initial Fee shall be $1,000.00 per installation <br />for the year 1982, and thereafter said fee shall be adjusted effective <br />January 1st of each subsequent year by a factor equal to the consumer <br />price index. <br /> (e) Annual adjustments under this section shall not preclude <br />the City from making additional adjustments to such fees if they are <br />deemed necessary. <br /> 17.68.070 General provisions <br /> (a) Location of Wells. Except as may be otherwise expressly <br />authorized by the City Council, no well shall be drilled nearer than <br />four hundred feet from any church, or other public building or dwelling <br />in the City; nor nearer than eight hundred feet f rom any school; nor <br />nearer than two hundred from any property line of the particular property <br />on which such well 1S drilled. The exact location of any drill site must <br />be specified by the City and no permit shall be issued until the exact <br /> -3- <br />
