Please accept this letter and attached CV as my
application to serve. (Please forgive the length of the CVi it is an artifact of
my 30+ years working in universities!)
My wife, Kathy Pollicita, has served on the Louisville Cultural Council since
April 2005, and through her I have become involved as a volunteer for some of
the Council's programs. You may recall that we met when you and the Louisville
City Council so kindly presented Certificates of Appreciation to us and the
members of my band, Sugar Daddy (www. suqardc~dqy12aflcL net) for our July 4 benefit
program in Memory Square park.
I have been very involved in community efforts through the years and, though we
have only lived in Louisville for two and a half years, it would be both an
honor and a pleasure to serve on the Louisville Cultural Council in order to
continue and extend their great work in this community.
Thank you for your consideration and I will look forward to hearing from you.
-Jim-
- -
James R.
