<br />Source, for over twenty years, the premier national source for self-employment options,
<br />franchising information, education and training.

<br />Recruited, nominated, then selected for this newly created position reporting to the Dean and
<br />Associate Vice Chancellor for Summer Session. Responsible for oversight and supervision of
<br />three program and two administrative units; Independent Learning, International English Center,
<br />Outreach, Marketing, and Operations (which includes Records & Registration, Web Resources,
<br />and Information Systems). Formed and chaired an internal program development workgroup to
<br />enhance existing programs and evaluate new opportunities. Also served as liaison with
<br />Eduventures, Inc., Learning Collaborative for Higher Education - Continuing and Professional
<br />Education Program.

<br />Led planning, review, approval, and oversight of a broad range of credit and non-credit activities:

<br />graduate domesti4 and international credit workshops, and Post-Secondary Enrollment Options
<br />Program (PSEOP). Administered the Credit Workshop Incentive Fund, Continuing Education
<br />Program Developrh1ent Fund, and Summer International Credit Workshop Scholarship Fund,
<br />Collaborated across the university with faculty, staff, academic and administrative department
<br />chairs, deans, and regional campus executive directors. Supervised program, administrative, and
<br />student staff, Non-credit program initiatives at Miami included the Oxford Town Meeting series,
<br />Leadership Oxford, Elderhostel, and the Institute for Learning in Retirement.

<br />As Notre Dame's first Director of Alumni Continuing Education, created, implemented, and
