..
[]JLi~(~[%@1J
568 West Sandbar Circle
Louisville, Colorado 80027
January 3,2007
City of Louisville
749 Main Street
Louisville, Colorado 80027
Dear Mayor Chuck Sisk,
I writing to let you know of my interest in being part of the Revitalization
Commission for the City of Louisville, as well introduce myself.
I am a resident of Colorado and have lived in Louisville for the past seven years.
Prior to moving to Louisville, I lived in Lakewood, where I grew up. When I compare
the two cities I safely say that what makes Louisville better than Lakewood is the small
town feeling that Main Street and the adjacent areas convey. There are few cities or
towns in the Denver Metro area as unique as Louisville.
My interest in becoming part of the Revitalization Commission stems from my
professional background. I work for an environmental engineering firm in Denver that
has dealt with clients conducting revitalization projects throughout the State. I have
enjoyed being part of these projects and feel that working with the other members of the
commission in Louisville would provide another rewarding experience, especially with
all the potential changes the City may face with the addition of a light rail station.
I live with my wife and two six month old twin girls and recently had my 30th
birthday. As someone who plans on raising their family in Louisville, I think it is very
important that any changes to the city are made to benefit our future as well preserving its
past.
I look forward to meeting with you and the City Council members and hopefully
working with you all in the New Year. You can reach me via my mobile phone,
303.919.4214, during normal business hours or at home, 720.890.8643, in the evenings.
Sincerely,
Nick Talocco
