. - (c) The responsibility for the appointments of subordinates necessary to carry out his assigned duties. (d) Supervising the maintenance and repair of the Municipal parks, buildings, and open space area. (e) Preparing and supervising recreation programs for the citizens of Louisville. (f) Through the authority vested in the City Administrator, he shall administer and supervise the operation of the Louisville Cemetery. (g) Prepare annual reports indicating the programs provided, the participation, and the revenues derived from such programs. (h) Prepare specifications and cost estimates for materials to be purchased. (i) Prepare preliminary plans and feasibility studies for proposed capital improvements. (j) Establish and prepare plans and specifications for the construction and repair of various city- owned recreation facilities. (k) Review and inspect all proposed annexation and subdivision plats. (1 ) Coordinate the planning and construction of city facilities with consultants and city personnel. (m) Perform such other duties as may be prescribed by law or required of him by direction of the City Administrator. (n) Perform all duties and responsibilities of the City Forestor as outlined by Chapter 8.12 of this Code. Section J. There is hereby added to the Louisville Municipal Code a Title ~ entitled "Parks and Recreation" wi th various Chapters and Sections as follows: TITLE 13 PARKS AND RECREATION Chapter 11.04 General Provisions ll.O4.0l0 Title. This title shall be cited as the Parks and Recreation regulations of the City. 11 . 04 . OL:O Purpose and Intent. The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the use of the Parks and Community Buildings of the City in order that all persons may enjoy and make use of such narks and buildings and to protect the rights of those in the surrounding areas. -2-
