<br /> . - <br />(c) The responsibility for the appointments <br />of subordinates necessary to carry out his assigned <br />duties. <br />(d) Supervising the maintenance and repair of <br />the Municipal parks, buildings, and open space area. <br />(e) Preparing and supervising recreation programs <br />for the citizens of Louisville. <br />(f) Through the authority vested in the City <br />Administrator, he shall administer and supervise <br />the operation of the Louisville Cemetery. <br />(g) Prepare annual reports indicating the programs <br />provided, the participation, and the revenues <br />derived from such programs. <br />(h) Prepare specifications and cost estimates for <br />materials to be purchased. <br />(i) Prepare preliminary plans and feasibility <br />studies for proposed capital improvements. <br />(j) Establish and prepare plans and specifications <br />for the construction and repair of various city- <br />owned recreation facilities. <br />(k) Review and inspect all proposed annexation and <br />subdivision plats. <br />(1 ) Coordinate the planning and construction of <br />city facilities with consultants and city personnel. <br />(m) Perform such other duties as may be prescribed <br />by law or required of him by direction of the City <br />Administrator. <br />(n) Perform all duties and responsibilities of <br />the City Forestor as outlined by Chapter 8.12 of <br />this Code. <br />Section J. There is hereby added to the Louisville <br />Municipal Code a Title ~ entitled "Parks and Recreation" wi th <br />various Chapters and Sections as follows: <br /> TITLE 13 <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> Chapter 11.04 General Provisions <br /> ll.O4.0l0 Title. <br />This title shall be cited as the Parks and Recreation <br />regulations of the City. <br /> 11 . 04 . OL:O Purpose and Intent. <br />The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the use of <br />the Parks and Community Buildings of the City in order that all <br />persons may enjoy and make use of such narks and buildings and <br />to protect the rights of those in the surrounding areas. <br /> -2- <br />
