The City Council finds that this Ordinance is

necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health,

and safety and that an emergency exists because of the following:

That the next municipal election is scheduled for November 6, 1979,

and that to conform to Constitutional standards of equal apportion-

ment of Wards, it is necessary to make immediate adjustments to the

Ward designations of the City; that said adjustments will result

in an approximately equal apportionment of voters in each Ward.

INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED PUBLISHED this.3 day of
(/-)
\ ~ 1979
''--;1' 1 / ,.
, d '
: I
I
~ ~. n
J ~- /' ,/
/ "/k---;r: j- I
I / ~/'-#,.;.--- ,
( /l' C7' '!//'iZe.c-u.~_I.../
Mayor ~;_~/'2l
I
/,
.ATTEST:

i!~~) y} ~/'-

City Clerk

ADOPTED AND APPROVED on second and final reading after
prop er pub lica t ion t b i s ILl j ~ day 0 f aJ.j' U.i::. . 1979.

(IJl?7j:tl~tt
Mayo _ .

~Jf1 hdi

City Clerk

-2-
