. I~, ORDINANCE NO. 676 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A CHAPTER 5.20 FOR THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE APPLICATION BY AND THE LICENSING OF CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEMS. WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that specific standards relative to the applications and licensing of cable television systems should be adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. ThE! following sections comprising Chapter 5.20 of Title 5 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby enacted and adopted: !5.20.010 Title This Ordinance shall be known and may be cited as "Standards for LouisvillE! Cable Television Service". 5.20.020 Definitions For the purpose of this Ordinance the following terms, phrases, words and their derivations shall have the meaning given herein. (a) "City" is the City of Louisville, Colorado. (b) IICable Television System" or CATV system of antennas, towers, satellite earth stations, micro-wave, co-axial cable, fiber optics, waveguides, or other conductors, converters, equipment and facilities, designed and constructed for the purpose of producing, receiving, transmitting, amplifying and distributing, audio, video, digital and other forms of electronic and electrical signals to persons who subscribe to programs and services delivered by such signals. Said definition shall not include in one or more multiple unit dwellings under common ownership, control or management, and does not use City rights-of-way. (c) "Person" is any person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or organi- zation of any kind. (d) "Applicant:" is any person who seeks a license for any authority to construct, erect, operate and maintain in the City any type of community antenna television system. Applicant also includes any person who seeks to have an existing license assigned or transferred to them in any manner.
