<br /> " OL <br /> 2.36.020 Qualifications of candidates <br /> Every qualified elector who has been a resi ent of the City <br /> for a period of twelve months preceding an election is eligible to <br /> hold any office to be filled by a municipal election. A qualified <br /> elector must be a resident of the ward which he is elected to renre- <br /> sent; except that in the case of boundaries of the ward are chanqed <br /> due to annexation, any person who has resided within t rritorv added <br /> to the ward for the time described herein shall PIed to have rn,et <br /> the residence requirements for the ward to which rritory was <br /> added. <br /> 2..36.030 Vacancies <br /> If any elective officer of the City, during is term of <br /> office, removes from or becomes a non-resident of the i ty or ",!ard <br /> from which he was elected, he shall be deemed thereby vacated <br /> his office upon the adoption by the City Council of a esolution <br /> declaring such vacancy to exist. If any vacancy in any <br /> elective office by death, resignation, removal, or oth the <br /> same shall be filled by appointment by a majority vote Council, <br /> and such appointee shall hold his office only until th next general <br /> municipal election, when such vacancy shall be filled y election, <br /> as in other cases. <br /> 2.36.040 Conduct in accordance with State aw <br /> All elections shall be held and conducted in accordance <br /> with the Colorado Hunicipal Election Law. <br /> Section 9.
