ORDINANCE NO. 1594 SERIES 2011 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET FORTH THAT CERTAIN FEES, RATES AND CHARGES WILL BE ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted certain fees, rates and charges by ordinance; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Louisville Municipal Code to provide that certain fees, rates and charges shall be as set forth by resolution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Section 1.24.010 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be added are underlined): Sec. 1.24.010. Credit on fine or for time served. Any person imprisoned for the nonpayment of a fine shall be credited for time served at the rate of $50.00 as established by resolution of the city council. Section 2. Section 5.04.070 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are shown in strikeout; words to be added are underlined): Sec. 5.04.070. Fee; term. There shall be a nonrefundable annual fee of $25.00 per year to register a business. The annual fee shall be as established by resolution of the city council. Such annual registration shall remain in effect until December 31 of the year of registration or until such time as the registrant no longer conducts such business within the city limits or until such time as the ownership of such business changes, whichever first occurs. A business registration is not transferable whether by sale, gift, operation of law or otherwise. Section 3. Section 5.08.040 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read in full as follows: Ordinance No. 1594, Series 2011 Page 1 of 15
