In the roundabout alternative, if the driver of a car sees that one parking lot is full, the driver can proceed within the circle and move to the next parking lot. OSAB additionally supports an underpass, should the City Manager and City Council determine that the first two recommended alternatives are not accepted. The underpass increased utilization of the o open space and improves access. The underpass is a potential wildlife corridor. o This option allows for continuous and o uninterrupted pedestrian and vehicle movement. OSAB has reservations about the underpass o because of the loss of parking spaces and the increased likelihood of crossing on the street, away from the underpass. IX. Discussion Item & Recommendation: Ordinance Amending Title 4 of the Louisville Municipal Code This discussion was tabled until next meeting. o Agenda was amended, as follows: o X. Discussion Item & Recommendation: CTC Trail Alignment Discussion of the Trail Alignment began at last month’s meeting. o This project has funding because CTC has pledged half, and the o ConservationTrust Land Acquisition Funds will provide the additional necessary funds for the City’s portion. OSAB unanimously recommends Option 2. o XI. Discussion: Way Finding in Open Space This discussion postponed until next meeting. o st XII. Discussion & Recommendation: Takoda GDP 1 Amendment OSAB was in agreement with all of the points put forth by Staff. o OSAB would like see the berming, vegetation and trail design be o consistent with the original Takoda plan.
