Membership forms given out at events will be coded in order to track <br />how many new memberships are generated by each event <br />2. All existing business members have either become business sponsors <br />for 2007 or have indicated that they intend to <br />3. There were 52 new memberships in 2006 <br />4. Junior Historian Certificates were given to students from Superior <br />Elementary and will be given to future groups <br />5. Chipotle restaurant, a business sponsor, has offered to donate burritos <br />for refreshments at a future meeting <br /> <br />XI. Chairperson's Report <br />A. Strategic Planning Meeting will be on February 24th from 8:00-12:00 at <br />The Goodhue Farm House <br /> <br />XII. Old Business <br />A. Donna Hauswald will review the application to receive the nonprofit postal <br />rate <br />B. The Pioneer Award for 2007 was presented to Bill and Betty Buffo at the <br />January 25 Chamber of Commerce banquet <br /> <br />XIII. New Business <br />A. Historical Society Annual Program <br />1. Bill Cohen will be the featured speaker on the topic of the 1936 <br />Monarch Mine explosion <br />2. Bridget Bacon and Meredyth Muth will work on date and location for <br />the annual program and report at an upcoming meeting <br /> <br />XIV. Commission Comments: none <br /> <br />XV. Discussion Items for Next Meeting: election of officers <br /> <br />XVI. The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 PM. <br />
