Superior, Louisville and Lafayette historical representatives will meet on <br />Tuesday, February 13th at 8:00 AM at the Superior Town Hall. Dan Mellish, <br />Don Ross, Diane Marino, and Bridget Bacon will attend. <br />9. A representative from the Broomfield Veteran's Museum visited the <br />Louisville Historical Museum and was given a copy of the WWII DVD <br />10. Bridget Bacon assisted Monarch High School history classes with <br />information on the Prohibition era in Louisville <br />C. Oral History Interviews - Jean Morgan assisted with interviewing Cliff Foster, <br />who owned the farm where the Hecla Mine was located and still lives on the <br />premises. <br />D. Safe from the Louisville City Hall - Bridget Bacon is in contact with an antique <br />safe expert who offered to review photos and information in order to try to date <br />Louisville's safe. <br />E. Searchable list of people on the WWII DVD <br />F. 2006 Annual Report - Bridget Bacon solicited suggestions of 2006 <br />accomplishments that may have been overlooked for the 2006 Annual Report, <br />a draft of which had been provided to Commission members <br />G. Future goals and objectives will be the basis of discussion at the strategic <br />planning session that will be a Saturday in February at the Goodhue Farm <br />House in Boulder County. <br /> <br />X. Committee Reports <br /> <br />A. Jordinelli House: no update <br />B. Museum Campus <br />1. Don Ross will make contact calls to vendors approved by the City of <br />Louisville regarding fencing on the Museum campus <br />2. The Museum water heater has not been replaced. <br />3. There are no new bids on the sprinkler system <br />C. Education <br />1. Visitor Report: <br />November: 73 <br />December: 364 <br />Year to Date: 1,600 <br />2. The largest visiting group was first grade students from Superior <br />Elementary <br />D. Events and Fundraising <br />1. Holiday Home Tour <br />a. There was discussion of the 2006 Holiday Home Tour <br />b. The event brought in $2,244 <br />c. For 2007, promotional ideas to be pursued are signs to be <br />placed on streets advertising the boutique and a banner to be <br />placed on the Museum advertising the event <br />e. The date for the 2007 planning meeting of the fundraising <br />committee is still to be determined <br />
