<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1460 <br />SERIES 2004 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE: 13 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />ENTITLED "WATER AND SEWERS," BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW CHAPTER 13.36 <br />ENTITLED "STORMW ATER - ILLICIT DISCHARGE AND CONSTRUCTION/POST <br />CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that control of pollutants into the Municipal Separate <br />Storm Sewer System ("MS4") is necessary to protect and enhance the water quality of the City's <br />watercourses, water bodies and wetlands; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt regulations which establish methods of <br />controlling the introduction of pollutants into the MS4, and which comply with the requirements of <br />the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in promotion of the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of the <br />City of Louisville, the City Council desires to enact Chapter 13.36 ofthe Louisville Municipal Code <br />entitled "Stormwater - Illicit Discharges and ConstmctionlPost Constmction Requirements and <br />Regulations" . <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORI)AINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1.
