A job <br />announcement is listed for a new Family Self-Sufficiency Case Manager currently. <br /> <br />The LHA board made a motion to present a $50 gift certificate to Marty for her years of service <br />to the Louisville Housing Authority. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />Frank and Jay explained the joint operations of the LHA/BCHA to Steve Underhill, new <br />alternate appointed by City Council. <br /> <br />Doris proposed on-site tours occur in May meeting. <br /> <br />LPEC Weatherization and Rehab Information <br />Amy Hollander is the program director. BCHA is trying to promote/market both programs. <br />They are not receiving many referrals from City of Louisville. The programs are available to <br />both renters and homeowners (including mobile homes) free of charge dependent on income <br />limits. Weatherization program include a full energy audit. The Rehab program addresses health <br />and safety issues. Members discussed including an insert with utility/water bills and also in the <br />bi-monthly city letter. Both programs can result in significant savings for renters and <br />homeowners and will help people with disabilities and increase quality of life. <br /> <br />Frank will follow up on reason why LPEC did not apply for Louisville charitable donation. <br /> <br />Frank will email ad (included in packet) for water bill insert to Heather. <br /> <br />Resident Caretaker Information <br />The sample resident caretaker agreement states the duties for caretakers. Currently the program <br />is working very well. Caretakers are needed at the family oriented sites of Wedgewood, <br />Cottonwood and Casa de la Esperanza. Caretakers must be paid hourly (no rent reduction) and <br />are being hired to reduce vacancy rate by cleaning up, monitoring safety and recycling. The <br />board wIll address the Issue 01 the resident caretaker at the next board meeting. <br /> <br />There is a parking issue at some of the sites. <br /> <br />Add recycling to agenda for next meeting. <br /> <br />Finance Report: Lisa BaDl!S <br /> <br />Lisa discusseJ the status of the audits. East St. was finalized at end of last week. She will <br />include a resolution for next month's meeting. Sherri and Frank's Question: Tax credit audits <br />cash received in 2005 was higher than 2006 even though rental income'increased. This was due <br />to management fees that were allocated in 2004. They were deemed ineligible for tax credits and <br />were repaid by BCIIA in 2005. Lisa went through Janlfeb financial updates for LHA, Lincoln <br />Street and East Street. <br /> <br />2 <br />
