All in agreement. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes - February 5 <br />Koertje seconded the motion. All in a <br /> <br /> <br />McMenamin moved to approve the minutes, <br />ent. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Ite <br /> <br /> <br />t on the Agenda - None. <br /> <br />Harney-Lastoka Open S Location/Use of Ms. Downer's Cabins <br />Muth introduced Rich Koopman and Carol Beam of Boulder County Parks and Open <br />Space. <br /> <br />Muth expre ncern that putting the cabins on the Lastoka parcel takes away from <br />the integri landmarked site. In addition, the staff time and money involved in <br />making the c interpretive sites would be of concern to Louisville as all costs for the <br />project will be b e by Louisville. She also noted that the adaptive reuse of the cabins <br />as storage sheds was an excellent alternative. <br /> <br />Koopman gave a short history of how the County has dealt with historic buildings on <br />Open Space over the years. He noted that the only time the County has moved buildings <br />to a site was to use them for a specific purpose. Koopman added that the County has <br />approved using the cabins for storage sheds, but has not approved any alternative sites <br />or interpretive uses. <br /> <br />Jean Morgan reiterated her strong desire that the cabins be moved to the Lastoka site <br />as interpretive sites, one as a miner's cabins and one to display miner's tools.
