Preservation (no changes) <br />o 721 Grant Avenue - Old Louisville Hospital <br />o 1116 LaFarge Avenue <br />o 301 Spruce Street <br />2. Preservation of original structure with an addition <br />o Methodist Church <br />o 1008 Jefferson Avenue <br />o 941 Garfield Avenue <br />3. Rehabilitation/Restoration <br />o Arts Center <br />4. Adaptive Reuse <br />o 701 Grant Avenue <br /> <br /> <br />Members are asked to submit any other ideas to Muth no later than A 10 and she will <br />bring pictures of suggestions to the April 18 meeting for a final decision. <br /> <br />"Why Preserve" Pamphlet Ideas <br />Members discussed ideas of what the pamphlet could addressj;ld identified the <br />following categories: <br />. Zoning Incentives <br />. Tax Credit Incentives <br />. Maintaining Character <br />. Property Value <br />. Conservation/Quality of Materials <br />. Uniqueness of Home <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Muth will draft a pamphlet for the Co ion to review at its next meeting. Muth noted <br />that this pamphlet could be done in a similar format to the previous "Best Practices" <br />pamphlet and could be part of a series perhaps to include one on green building <br />practices related to old. omes. <br /> <br />Preservation Zoning ntives Update - Muth reported that staff plans to take the <br />draft ordinance to the Pia ing Commission for comment at their April 12 meeting <br />assuming th e draft ordinance from the City Attorney arrives in time to advertise the <br />required 1 blic notice. Lewis and McMenamin will review the ordinance to be <br />sure it addr II of the items we proposed. Members will attend the April 12 meeting <br />to support the inance. <br /> <br />Demolition Requests <br />. 300 Spruce Street - Tofte reported that she and Childs had reviewed this request <br />and found no reason to delay the permit as the original structure had undergone <br />significant changes over the years. <br />. 1017 Grant Avenue - McMenamin reported that he and Childs reviewed this and <br />released the permit as it was a very tasteful rear addition that will not affect the <br />street fayade of the house. <br />. 9834 Paschal Drive - Lewis reported that she and Childs reviewed this and <br />found no reason to hold the permit. A visual inspection of the house showed no <br />
