PUBLIC HEARINGGrant Request –1117 Jefferson Avenue – Steward announced the publichearing and then recused himself as he is a neighbor of the applicant.Stewart left council chambers. Koertje assumed the chairmanship. Koertje determined the applicant was not present. Koertje stated the board did not have a quorum for this business item therefore he requested a motion to continue to the July 18. Poppitz moved and Fasick seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously by voice vote. NOTE: Stewart returned to the meeting. Pre-filing conference –1008 Lafarge Avenue Stewart stated the purpose of the pre-filling conference is to answer any questions the applicant might have. He requested the applicant to introduce himself. Mike Sheppard stated he is the property owner of 1008 Lafarge Ave and he maintains the home as arental. He had stopped by City Hall and was able to visit with Mr. McCartney. At the time he learned about the possible program and what some of the things are offered. He would like more information about the process and what his next steps should be. Hestated he has already visited the CarnegieLibrary and obtain some of history of the property. He has a photo of the home in 1948 and photos as the house is today. Stewart provided a general outline of the program.
