The City will soonreplace the back door of the Museum, and plans are also underway to <br />improve the plumbing in order to avoid exposed pipes in cold weatherand to replace the <br />Museum sign. <br />In the last month at the Museum, I again provided assistance to people who are looking for <br />information aboutthe histories of their Louisville properties as well asworking on long <br />distance family history researchrelating to Louisville, including someone who is a <br />descendant of Louisville pioneer Josephine Wilson. <br />To give an update on the Jefferson Place survey that I work on for the City under the <br />category of historic preservation, since last fall I’ve researched and written reports on almost <br />sixty historic houses in Jefferson Place and the families that lived in them. <br />Museum Visitors Report(these statistics represent visits to the Museumitself, andnot inquiries <br />Julyvisitors: 88; YTD visitors: 583. <br />that come in by email or phone): <br /> <br />
