The key issues will be the demo permit
process and the PUD as well as the incentive program for commercial property.
A discussion followed regarding the difference between understanding intent vs. actual
filing with a demo permit.
Russ confirmed staff will circulate the finalized agenda to the HPC as soon as it
becomes available.
Discussion continued regarding demo permits. Jay Keany, 1488 Wilson Place,
Louisville reviewed what he heard during the discussion regarding the expiration of a
demo permit. He supports an expiration of an approved demo permit.
Russ stated the discussion with City Council will clarify the expiration of the approved
demo permit.
Stewart said the HPC has been meeting with the demo permit applicant to discuss what
they intend to do with the property.
th
Russ encouraged the HPC to attend the July 12 meeting with City Council and staff
will work with the HPC to prepare and address the concerns during the meeting.
Fasick asked when the meeting is scheduled.
ndth
Russ stated it is the 2 Tuesday in July (July 12 at 7:00 PM).
Koertje requested a copy of the proposed draft of the demo code.
Russ stated it would be circulated to the board this week. He confirmed it is the only
agenda item for the evening.

Update/Discussion/Action – Letter to DELO
Stewart requested a discussion of the draft letter to DELO. The letter was written by
Stewart and Speier. He asked if the letter should be sent in the name of the entire HPC
or just from the co-authors.
Koertje moved and Fasick seconded a motion to have the letter sent to DELO from the
entire HPC and to include the minor edits discussed. Motion passed unanimously by
voice vote.
