<br />reference to the Uniform Code for Building Conservation <br />within this chapter shall be to the 1997 Edition of said <br />code. <br /> <br />15.36.020 Copies available. <br /> <br />At least one copy of the Uniform Code for Building <br />Conservation, certified to be true and accurate, shall be <br />available for public inspE~ction between the hours of 8: 00 <br />a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays <br />excepted, at the office of the building safety division. <br />The city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable <br />supply of copies of the code available for purchase by <br />the public at a moderate price. <br /> <br />15.36.030 Violation and penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or <br />corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br />move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, <br />occupy or maintain any building or structure or cause or <br />permi t the same to be donE~ in violation of the provisions <br />of this chapter or the terms of the code adopted and <br />incorporated herein. Any person convicted of a violation <br />of any provision of this chapter or of the provisions of <br />the code adopted and incorporated herein shall be subject <br />to the penalty provided in Section 1.28.010. <br /> <br />Section 16. Section 15.40.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.40.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The Uniform Solar Energy Code, 1997 Edition, <br />published by the International Association of Plumbing <br />and Mechanical Officials, 20001 Walnut Drive South, <br />Walnut, California, 91879, is adopted by reference <br />thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and subj ect <br />matter of the Uniform Solar Energy Code include <br />provisions for the erection, installation, alteration, <br />addition, repair, relocation, replacement, maintenance, <br />or use of any solar energy system, for the purpose of <br />protecting the public health, safety and general welfare. <br />Except as otherwise provided herein, the Uniform Solar <br />Energy Code is adopted in full, including the outline of <br />contents, index, and appendices contained therein. In <br />all sections of this chapter where a reference is made to <br />the Uniform Solar Energy Code, said reference shall be to <br />the 1997 Edition of said Code. <br /> <br />10 <br />
