<br />Section 9. Section 15.12.010 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.12.010 Adoption. <br /> <br />The Uniform Fire Code, 1997 Edition and the Uniform <br />Fire Code Standards, 1997 Edition, by the International <br />Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill Road, <br />Whittier, California, 90601, and the Western Fire Chiefs <br />Association, 300 North Main Avenue, Suite 25, Fallbrook, <br />California 92028, as published by the International Fire <br />Code Institute, 5360 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, <br />California, 90601, are hereby adopted by reference <br />thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code. The purpose and subject <br />matter of the Uniform Fire Code and Standards include <br />minimum standards relating to the storage, handling, and <br />use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and <br />providing greater safety and protection to the public <br />from conditions hazardous to life or property in the <br />occupancy of buildings or premises. Except as otherwise <br />provided herein, the Uniform Fire Code and Standards are <br />adopted in full, including the outline of contents, <br />index, and appendices. Any reference to the Uniform Fire <br />Code within this chapter shall be to the 1997 Edition of <br />said Code. <br /> <br />Section 10. Section 15.12.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby repealed and reE:macted, with amendments, to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />15.12.030 Appendices adopted. <br /> <br />The following appendices of the Uniform Fire Code <br />are hereby specifically adopted; any appendices not <br />listed are not adoptE~d: Appendix I-C, Stairway <br />Identification; Appendix II-A, Suppression and Control of <br />Hazardous Fires Areas; Appendix II-B, Protection of <br />Flammable and Combustible Liquid Tanks in Locations <br />Subject to Flooding; Appendix II-E, Hazardous Materials <br />Management plans and Hazardous Materials Inventory <br />Statements; Appendix II-F', Protected Above Ground Tanks <br />for Motor Vehicle Fuel-Dispensing Stations Outside <br />Buildings; Appendix II-H, Site Assessments for <br />Determining Potential Fire and Explosion Risks from <br />Underground Flammable or Combustible Liquid Tank Leaks; <br />Appendix III-A, Fire-Flow Requirements for Buildings; <br />Appendix III-B, Fire Hydrant Locations and Distribution; <br />Appendix III-C, Testing Automatic Sprinkler and Standpipe <br />Systems; Appendix IV-B, Christmas Trees; Appendix V-A, <br /> <br />7 <br />
