CityCouncil <br />WaterCommittee <br />-Draft -Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, June 17, 2011 <br />nd <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, 2Floor <br />7:30-9:00 am(Front doors will be unlocked at 7:15 am) <br />I.Call to Order <br />–Chairman Robert Mucklecalled the meeting to order at 7:35am. <br />II.Roll Call <br />was taken and the following members were present: <br />Mr. MuckleandMr. Dalton. <br />City Council: <br />Mr. Sisk <br />Absent: <br />Mr. Fleming, Mr. Mathes,Mr. Phare, and Mr. Hill. <br />Staff Present: <br />III.Approval of Agenda:Agenda approved. <br />IV.Approval of the Minutes:Minutes of October 22, 2010meetingapprovedas <br />written. <br />V.PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: <br />no public comments <br />VI.Update –Water Resources <br />i.Water Supply & Demand Analysis –Staff presented a brief summary of <br />the outlook for the remainder of the water year. While January and <br />February have been dry, it is still early in the season. Staff will continue <br />to monitor the snowpack. <br />ii.Goodhue Ditch Lining. <br />VII.Legal <br />i.Diligence Cases Completed –Mr. Hill informed the Committee that the <br />City has received Decrees on its four diligence cases. A brief <br />discussion on conditional water rights and the value of continuing <br />diligence on those rights, followed. <br />ii.Marshall Lake and South Boulder & Coal Creek Transfer –the case is on <br />theJudges Docketwith a preliminary trial date of June 2012 and a <br />secondary date in 2013.
